Discover fine affordable fabrics, yarn, and sewing supplies at the SewGreen Store in downtown Ithaca. Anyone who sews, knits, or designs will love our unique and constantly changing selection. NEW: Wax prints and batiks from Africa. Come enjoy the lively prints and colors! SewGreen has classes for all ages. Learn sewing machine skills, pattern making, even how to tune up an older sewing machine. Our popular Saturday Sewing Camps for kids still have openings, and the summer camp schedule is now posted. Sign up now!

We assess, clean, oil, and tune-up older sewing machines – and provide coaching on how to get the best performance from your machine. We also refurbish older machines and often have a few for sale. Learn to tune up your own older sewing machine at a "Fix & Stitch" class.

A limited number of teen apprenticeships are available this semester, and it's not too early to think about a summer job. Teens who have learned or worked here are welcome to attend free "open sew" Teen Nights.
