GIAC AFTER-SCHOOL CLASSES

SewGreen is delighted to partner with the Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC) to host free sewing classes for middle school students in their after-school program. A group of students will come to SewGreen every Wednesday, starting October 4. Our goal is not only to introduce young people to the empowerment of being able to sew - but to develop young teachers who can continue the classes on their own. Contact Samantha McBean at GIAC. Tweens and teens who attend these classes are welcome to join Friday afternoon Open Sews, or Style Engineers on Friday nights, at SewGreen.
